This part of the powder can be removed by scrubbing. In practice, the elongation can not reach 8%, because too high elongation will seriously damage the wire surface and affect the wire quality. The stripping rate of iron oxide scale is related not only to the diameter of carbide shelling wheel, but also to the angle of steel wire edging. The greater the ladle angle, the greater the bending deformation of the wire rod when passing through the shelling wheel, and the iron oxide skin stripping rate will naturally increase. However, too large wrap angle not only makes the shelling wheel wear faster, but also increases the traction required, and also causes damage to the steel wire surface.
